The Drinks at Dutch Kills

DUTCH-KILLS-011

A few weeks ago I went with Brandon Friend to his favorite bar in all of New York: Dutch Kills. This speakeasy nestled on a small street in LIC, NY has one of the most unassuming faces, but once indoors is quite possibly the most beautiful escape I’ve ever been in. Brandon’s paintings of their drinks adorn the walls, and was also the reason we went on this specific night. I am a photographer and he was looking to do another set of paintings. I was happy to oblige, and of course once we took photos of each spirit we got to drink them too. From spicy, to smooth, to delicious the drinks never failed to please, and I hope that comes across in these photographs I took of them. It also happens to be a good place to catch celebs walking over from Silver Cup studios (which is only a few blocks away).
