We hung out with Eric Zimmerman, and talked about the birth of indie gaming with him. He’s was an incredibly insightful person, and one who I’m excited to continue watching. He created the game Sissyfight back in 2000, started Gamelab, wrote the book “Rules of Play” (the game designer’s bible), teaches classes at NYU to this day, and designs games

Ask questions, Give advice
It’s better to ask questions than give advice.
Many times advice is unwarranted or unheeded.
Advice (unless asked for) is many times not harmonious or synonymous with where someone else is or what they need.
Patience allows for the resolutions to be organic.
To give advice is to listen and learn.
