Sotheby’s auction for StreetWise Partners

This flagship event — held at the world’s preeminent Sotheby’s — propeled forward StreetWise Partners’ new campaign to engage the most promising business leaders of the workforce to open pathways to good jobs and accelerate people’s ability to work their way out of poverty. SWP was joined by prominent members of the business community for a memorable evening — enjoyed fine food and spirits, and browsed the exclusive, elegant galleries of Sotheby’s. Honorary guest and speaker Robert C. Lieber, Bloomberg Deputy Mayor for Economic Development was in attendance.

Proceeds raised benefited StreetWise Partners and ensured that low-income adults and their families re-enter the workforce, secure career-advancing jobs, and achieve lifelong employability.

I was once a mentor for their 2009 Spring Cycle, and was proud to journal the event.
